Directions
For best results apply to clean, dry skin in long sweeping motions using a tanning mitt.
Ensure all areas are covered before lightly gliding excess tan over hands and feet.
Rinse off after 1 hour to reveal a natural looking fake tan.

The Best Express tan in my opinion
I brought this a few summers back and was very sceptical about it but I saw a few reviews and decided to give it a go.
A bit of back ground on my skin type & tone. I’m pale normally a neutral/cool tone in foundations, “Mont Blanc” in Nars being a standard non fake tan shade for me then when I’m tanned a mixture of “punjab/Barcelona” from Nars being my shade. So I like a red toned tan as this is what I would go if I sunbathed, I don’t and when I do on holiday I’m a SPF 50 fan (skin cancer runs in my family history so I rarely do sunbathe hence fake tan fan)
However, I’m also a mum who HATES sleeping in fake tan because I don’t plus I get hot and always wake up to a sweat line somewhere so I’m a huge fan of express tans which I wear during the day or from when the kids go to bed around 8pm until 11pm.
I have tried quite a few express tans and most are ok but the majority of the time they always require 5 hours on then another coat the next night which defeats the point of an express tan in my eyes.
Then I found this one & it’s my “holy grail” fake tan. It comes out like shaving cream, so not too wet, applies really well and most importantly dries down really quickly. Other express tan have always left me with that constant sticky feeling so you can’t do anything except stand in front of a fan to try and dry down…
Thankfully this one doesn’t do that. It has a slight green tinge to it but when I rub it in I can see the red tone to it which is what gives me the perfect neutral tan after 3/4 hours. (Great time to catch up on admin/box sets/shopping ect)
After the time is up I rinse off and apply a hydrating moisturiser and either collect kids from school or go to sleep.
In the morning my colour is the perfect brown colour which prompts questions of “have you been away? Just come back from holiday? Been in the garden sunbathing?” But in reality it’s this tan which lady’s around 9 days with everyday hydrating moisturiser as well as light exfoliating during the week to keep its fade even. By day 9/10 I’m ready to remove it and start a new application.
This has been my summer tanning routine for the past 2 summers and I honestly wouldn’t use anything else now. I have tried more budget friendly express tans and there is always something wrong with them, drying time far too long, the tone is too orange based, very drying on the skin after application, difficulty with the application, very fragranced or the main one, to get the shade I’m after I have to apply 2 separate coats over a 2 day period and wear them for over 5 hours which defeats the point of an express tan….

I bought this with high hopes. It went on great and I even thought it only needs an hour I left it on overnight so it was very dark by the morning. Looked really good…..for a day. Then it was like I’d never applied it at all, it was near enough washed off the first shower!
