Directions
You can apply with the Smoothing Face Brush or your fingertips.
- Shake well.
- Squeeze onto the back of your hand.
- Pick up the product and blend outward, beginning at the center of the face where we tend to need the most coverage.
- To build coverage where needed, press more product on with your fingertips.
- Allow product to dry down to its matte finish.
- Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
- Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
- Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.
- Reapply at least every 2 hours.
- Use a water resistant suncreen if swimming or sweating.

Oh no I picked up the wrong one!
I’ve used the complexion rescue for years - shade ginger, it’s amazing and I get many compliments. I picked this up at the airport in June and used it for the first time today. I noticed the tube was black instead or beige, and also the formula dragged over my skin. I didn’t realise there is a Matt version of this product for oily skin - doh! It’s not very obvious on the outer packaging, so for those with normal skin please check you are purchasing the original, it’s amazing. I will try this tube again tomorrow with a little moisturiser mixed in - wish me luck!

Cakey and horrible on the skin
I used the original complexion rescue and decided to try this for a more matte look. Unfortunately a total waste of money, blends horribly and looks streaky. I’ve tried to stick with it but it just isn’t it

Bareminerals complexion rescue matte
I’m am impressed with this product, I’ve used the original formula for years, but this variation stays on for longer without the shiny finish. You should shake the tube before applying to mix the contents to get the desired effect & I think the application works better with a brush. Overall I highly recommend using this product

Coconut Alkanes are pore clogging
Pleaser can you stop using Coconut Alkanes are they are the culprit for people probe to breaking out. It is also in the new Pure Serum foundation which I really wanted to use.
