Directions
Apply the tinted serum after your daytime skincare routine. Shake the bottle before use.
If you use lightweight daytime skincare products, apply your Tinted Oleo-Serum with your fingertips, using light, fluid movements working from the centre to the outside of the face.
The dropper allows you to dispense however much you need. Application can be adjusted according to the intensity and coverage desired:
2 drops for a natural healthy glow,
3 drops for an even complexion,
4 drops or more for greater coverage.
If you use richer daytime skincare products, apply your Tinted Oleo-Serum with a blender using light tapping motions or with a multi-purpose brush, working from the centre to the outside of the face.

I love this!
Goes on like silk, you only need the tiniest couple of drops and can build it for more coverage. Lovely light dewy finish and I find I don’t even need any concealer. Best skin tint I’ve ever used.

Hideous. Am so glad I got a sample first
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gutted that this is the recommendation to replace the previously brilliant tinted moisturiser by clarins. The one they now do is only one colour and orange on me so the counter rep recommended this. Sounded great. But crikey it's like the most horrible thing ever...didn't blend, was dy but also oily, and sat in every pore even pores I didn't know I had so had to rewash and exfoliate my face to get rid of it. Really disappointed as loved the previous tinted nourishingmoisturiser that came in different shades for my pale skin :(

Expensive mistake, worst Clarins product
I was persuaded to buy this because the wonderful tinted moisturiser is no longer made. BIG mistake Clarins! Why discontinue a winning product?
Anyway, the sales woman told me I needed shade 01 and this was the best alternative.
What an expensive mistake!
It sits on the face and cannot be blended, leaving whitish marks on my nose where it hasn’t reacted well with my moisturiser or SPF. Apart from anything the shade makes my skin sallow and yellowish.
And don’t get me started on the fact that no matter what I do, the top gets all oily and dribbles onto me.
Terrible product. Avoid.

Persevered - but not for me
As a Clarins tinted moisturiser wearer, I was recommended this as a substitute. I have persevered with it and feel compelled to leave a review (which I never do!). I have found over the weeks that I've used it that it has either pilled and had to be removed, caked and stuck to fine lines and even just pores and had to be removed (yes, I did shake the bottle!). It's worth also being aware that the product not only separates into oil and thick stuff, but the oil leaches out of the bottle. Not only messy but means you can't travel with it as the pipette lid is not to be trusted. I'm sorry to say that from the bottle to the contents, I have nothing positive to say. I even didn't like the over perfumed smell on my face. I was looking for a light, dewy, moisturised finish and unfortunately, this just didn't provide that for me.

On the fence!
I have a bit of a love-hate with this product! It needs very careful application to get it to blend into the skin. The first couple of times I used it, it pilled like crazy and I had to brush off all the little bits. I do not recommend this if you have dry skin which it will make look flakier or visible pores which it will accentuate. However, I persevered and have developed an application technique that seems to work. Shake the bottle well, put one drop on the back of your hand, work it into a brush thoroughly and then dab the brush gently onto the skin. Repeat if you need more coverage. I actually like the end result. It is supremely comfortable on the skin and even when you take it off, it feels like it has had a skincare effect. And once you've managed to apply it smoothly, I love the healthy, glowy finish. It just takes a little time and care so I don't use it on days when I am in a hurry.
