This cleanser will look and foam like a traditional shampoo, but it contains much gentler ingredients that will not dry curls out, so it is suitable for frequent washes and colour safe. It is also enriched with proteins and fortifying actives that will help strengthen the hair and protect it from breakage.
For all curl types, and even straight hair! Particularly beneficial for weak, damaged hair. Suitable for any hair thickness. Particularly recommended to people with medium to high porosity hair, can be used by low porosity hair because of its low protein content.

Directions
- Apply generously to wet hair.
- Massage vigorously into your scalp to break down dirt and product build-up.
- Rinse off thoroughly.
- If your hair is weak and damaged, follow with the Curlsmith Multi-Tasking Conditioner and style with your favourite Curlsmith products.

Worst products for curly hair
This is hands down the worst product for curly hair. Despite following every recommendation from the Curlsmith quiz, my curls ended up limp, dehydrated, and frizzy. The attached image of my Curlsmith results starkly contrasts with my usually soft, separated ringlet curls. I deeply regret falling for the hype and wasting my money.

Curlsmith became my favourite brand
Curlsmith became my favourite brand after the first use.
I completed the quiz and ordered suggested products for my hair type, to my surprise the order was delivered the next day.
My hair is much stronger and healthier now, I love all the selected products.

Strong enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was searching for a shampoo to alternate with Curl Quenching Conditioning Wash. Seems it works: the co wash sometimes is too gentle and I need a more strong cleanser. For very dry hair I suggest a more moisture cleaner, or the routine with two products as I explained.

Shiny hair
It makes for really shiny and hydrated hair, i used it together with the conditioner.
It is however NOT enough for my fine hair, it does not wash away all of the oily buildup I think. After a few washes my hair got very oily on the second day already. I use it in combination with a more clearing shampoo.
It also smells very nice.

Great shampoo
