Curlsmith Shape Up Aqua Gel is a light hold, protein-enriched incredibly lightweight styling gel that provides flexible definition and volume for all curls.

Directions
Apply to soaking wet hair. For extra moisture, prime your hair with your favorite Curlsmith leave-in. Rake through to ensure you are evenly coating all strands. Use the 'praying hands' method to smooth all locks down, seal the moisture in and tame the cuticles. Scrunch to encourage curl formation, then air dry or diffuse.

The level and hold of
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The level and hold of this product are great, and I’m eager to try more Curlsmith products to achieve the perfect look. However, I’ve noticed that not all your products are available in different sizes. This makes it challenging for working-class individuals to invest, as purchasing a full-sized product that may not suit them could result in a significant financial loss.

Great brand for diverse hair needs
Curlsmith is one of those rare brands that describe quite simply what a product does and what it doesn't. There are no 'one product fixes all' sort of claims that can never be true anyway for people with curly hair.

Liquid gel, hydrating with lower hold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that the Aqua gel contains protein, it felt really nice on my hair and was hydrating, with a very liquid consistency. It does have a lower hold than some of the other gels and I felt it was not a strong enough hold for my hair alone, but I can layer with another gel or using when refreshing.

Magic in a bottle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely found the holy grail for my curls. They’re moisturised, bouncy, soft and defined without weighing my hair fine hair down. Works well with the airless dry cream. Curls last for days, just a spritz of water and a few finger coils on days 2 and 3 and I’m good to go. Love it.
