In 2013, Huda created the Huda Beauty brand with a collection of custom, couture lashes building the super strong foundation that backs the brand today. Genuinely inspired by and named after the many influential women in Huda’s life, each false lash design has been tailor-made by Huda herself.

“It’s kind of funny when you put your name on something… I know Huda Beauty is always there, but Hoodie is really me, my intimate me. It’s my nickname and it makes these feel really intimate and special to me. My best friends have called me Hoodie since I was a kid you know. To the loyal lash fanatics, the Hoodie #23 Lash is the ULTIMATE falsie; packed full of intense drama, unreal volume and insane length! Wispy yet wildly intricate and dramatic, this ultra-long lash offers unbelievable 3D volume, drawing all necessary attention directly to the eyes for captivating contact and full-on Huda Kattan vibes.

“I wanted something fluffy, sexy, alluring, powerful and empowering! And the Hoodie lash is that for me,” said Kattan. “It’s like hold on world I’m going to take over. I’m going to go run this board meeting and dominate the world. Oh, and I’m going to look beautiful while I do it!”

Trimmed by Huda herself, Hoodie #23 is a full fan of beautiful, synthetic lash fibers that fits her eye contour, framing her naturally rounded eye-shape in a way that makes it appear elongated. Using a unique variety of crisscrossed clusters and multi-layer strands of wispy lash fibers along a transparent band, she was able to achieve natural yet dramatic 3D-volume, mirroring the impact of lash extensions without the unnecessary baggage.

“Lash extensions are not incredible for your natural lashes, even though they look amazing when you get them done,” said Kattan. “I wanted the Hoodie #23 Lash to give you the same effect as lash extensions without damaging your natural lashes. Did we mention how long the Hoodie #23 Lash really is? Well, it’s so long that it calls for its very-own, brand-new lash category – the Lengthie category – that sits along the rest of Kattan’s lash categories (including Shortie, Classic, Luxe, etc.) The Lengthie category will consist of ultra-fluffy and voluminous but most importantly ultra-long lashes.

Directions

1. Measure the lashes against your eye and starting from the outer corner, trim the band to the correct length – about 80% of your eye width. For a more customizable look, cut the lash into 3 chunks, and apply in pieces!
2. Using a lash applicator, gently grasp the lash at the base, leaving the lash band exposed.
3. Apply a thin coat of lash glue to lash band. Wait 20-30 seconds until glue becomes sticky. This will ensure the lashes stick properly.
4. Using an applicator or tweezers, gently press the lashes just above natural lashes along the natural lash line.

Huda’s tip: For the best results, curl your lashes and apply one coat of mascara before applying lashes!
