I was asked to try this product for free by Lancome Community in exchange for my honest review. I don't normally use foundation of any sort as I have bad scarring from having acne as a teenager and I thought it would make it look worse than it is. How wrong can you be? I used a primer first before applying the foundation, just one pump onto a sponge, wiped it over my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, then dabbed it all over my face and down my neck. I was extremely surprised to see that the scarring was hardly visible at all, quite the opposite of what I thought would happen. It also covered some dark spots I have on my face and a couple of other small blemishes too. I left it on all day even though I wasn't going out, just to see how it faired during the day after a few hours wear and it looked just as good in the evening as when I first applied it, even the faint lines around my eyes didn't affect it at all. It goes on really smoothly and is really easily blendable, with no effort, making my skin all one colour with a nice matte finish, good for my oily skin. It also contains spf 35 which is good for this time of year when the sun is not too strong. I also like that it contains Hyaluronic Acid, which keeps skin plump and hydrated and Vitamin E to nourish it. I wish I had found this years ago, but now I have, I will definitely be using it on a regular basis.

Creasing? What’s that?
Excellent concealer that does not crease!! I switched to Lancôme after being a NARS concealer girl for YEARS but I certainly won’t be going back!

Hi. I would like to buy this concealer, but I am unsure of what shade to pick. I use the Clarins Instant Concealer in shade 1, but its been discontinued. What shade would be similar in this Teint Idole concealer?
