Rich, Hydrating, and Nourishing
I’ve been using this moisturiser for over a month now! I do a full body moisturise once a week and this product lasts so well. It’s thick, rich consistency is nourishing on my skin and gives my skin a boost of hydration. A little amount of product goes a long way. It does take a little bit of time to soak into the skin but it’s worth the wait

Autumn/Winter staple
When the cold weather seasons draw in my skin cries out for moisture and nourishment. Brisk wind, rain and central heating on high all have a negative effect on my skin leaving it dry, irritable and flaky. And I mean flaky. This body cream by Skinfix full of ceramides, healthy fats and botanical extracts that work to protect the skin within and it's barrier from the harsh external elements, is thick and soft and leaves my skin feeling nourished and cared for. I'm usually not keen on thick creams as I find they don't really absorb into my skin easily and leave an oily coating on the surface, but this barrier cream is nice to use and does no such thing. For me personally I apply it to my body after my shower or bath when I'm getting ready for bed. That way it can work it's magic whilst I sleep and I wake up to soft, supple skin.
As the cream itself is unfagrant it doesn't have a richness to the scent. It smells a bit dusty if I'm honest but I can overlook the scent if it means my skin is being taken care of and looking it's best.

Rich and nourishing but too much for me
I received this product as a sample to try and honestly I wouldn’t purchase it with my own money. Its claims are true it is a rich moisturiser but it’s not for me, it’s too rich it takes an awful long time to rub in and feel like it’s absorbed, I noticed this lifting my fake tan also due to the time to rub in so I was careful not to use it on fresh tan days. The smell also isn’t for me, it smells like those cheap fake tans you can’t stand so I ended up only using it on my legs to keep testing so I couldn’t smell it. My legs definitely felt nourished but I doubt I will finish the pot, I’d rather find another cream that does the same but easier to use and a better smell

Overhyped for the Price
I was hoping this would be the holy grail, but have to admit that I'm kinda disappointed. I have extremely dry skin, and a skin barrier in need of a lot of repair - so given all the great ingredients in this products (particular ceramides), I was hoping to be blown away! Instead, I found that it was just okay. It has a nice, rich texture, no scent, and (in less cold weather) keeps my skin moisturised all day. But that's about it - given the steep price point (I don't understand how on earth that price is justified), I was expecting much more from the product - when I've used other moisturisers, I've noticed much softer skin after just a few uses, and much better complexion, pointing to an improved skin barrier. This didn't hold up during extremely cold weather, and my skin looked a bit dull.
There are other body moisturisers out there that do just as good - if not, a far better - job than this one, so I definitely wouldn't buy this, and I wouldn't recommend it to others either, when you can buy more effective body creams for half the price.

Great firming body cream
I was lucky enough to be chosen to test this body cream from the Sephora community. I had used another product from Skinfix before so I know that I liked the brand so was really excited to try something new. My first impression was that the size of the tub was very generous and I thought it would go a long way. The rich texture was great for hydrating my dry legs and after using the product for a couple of weeks I can see an improvement in the firmness and overall appearance of my skin. There is no particular smell to the body cream - I usually prefer body creams to have a stronger scent but I was happy enough with the results of this cream so didn’t mind.

Velvety smooth skin in an instant
I was lucky enough to be chosen by the Sephora Beauty Community to test this body cream for an honest review. I’ve got to say this cream is amazing and it does exactly what it says it will do. It has a rich texture but with some gentle massaging it absorbs into the skin with no pilling. It leaves my skin feeling velvety smooth and hydrated which is perfect for the colder months. I had no problem with the scent of this cream and the tub is a generous size, so a little will go a long way. I enjoy putting this cream on after a shower to lock in hydration. Although it’s a pricey product, I do highly recommend it if you have super dry skin. I will definitely be repurchasing this one!

Definitely nourishes and hydrates the skin!
I received this cream a few weeks ago, via the Sephora beauty community, to test.
I’ve used it every day since to give a fair review.
The formula is rich and absorbs well into the skin. This can absolutely be used alone or as a layer - I prefer to use it alone, after my evening shower. It definitely hydrates and nourishes the skin, my skin is still silky smooth in the morning. The only thing I don’t like is the smell of the product in the tub however once it’s applied into the skin the smell isn’t bad at all.

Wonderful moisturizing and nourishing cream !
I received Skinfix barrier lipid boost body cream as a part of the Sephora community test and review. I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now. This product absorbs instantly into the skin, is not greasy and moisturizes and nourishes the skin well. It has been a wonderful cream for my skin which during the winter months can be quite dry, rough and itchy. One put off was the kind of medicated odour of the cream which I did not like. Its a good sized product and I will continue using it as my skin is loving it !
