Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for KP *Received complimentary for my honest review* I suffer with KP (keratosis pillars) on the back of my arms & my thighs. Additionally, I have ingrown hairs on my legs as a result of epilating. Moreover, being perimenopausal has caused my skin to become significantly drier & itchy. Therefore, I was eager to give this product a try. The product is incredibly user-friendly & gentle, yet it effectively exfoliates without causing any irritation to my sensitive skin. Throughout the few weeks of testing, it undeniably enhanced the texture & smoothness of my skin. However, in my opinion, the price is quite high, which makes me hesitant to personally invest in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t recommend more for KP sufferers!!! Where to start? Where to start? Where to start? I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I didn’t think anything would be able to help me tackle my KP (Keratosis Pilaris), and I grew up being told to just scrub using a hand towel or something like that and it’ll go away, and yet it never worked. I received this product for free as part of a testing program and when I say I started to see a difference after one use, I absolutely mean it. From the texture to the actual application, it’s really easy to use, non-scented so it didn’t irritate my skin, and each particle of the scrub was even and in comparison to other body scrubs, wasn’t abrasive on my skin. The creaminess of the product was everything, I was expecting it to be harsh against my sensitive skin, yet it was nothing of the sort. After testing it for a few weeks, I’ve seen a lot of improvement and my skin feels and looks smoother, and I cannot recommend this product more. It’s become a holy grail product in my shower routine and it’s a staple in my house now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from luxe! I have really enjoyed using this product- For me this SkinFix exfoliator encompasses the details and methods of facial skincare and applies them to bodycare. The combination of physical and chemical exfoliators (beads & glycolic+lactic acids) leaves the skin silky smooth and super clean feeling 🧼 The product has a thick cream consistency with large beads dispersed throughout rather than your typical sugar-like scrub. There is no strong scents which for me is another positive aspect about the products that I would usually look for in my facial skincare routine. As somebody who gets irritated legs from shaving, I have found a decrease in this when using the product beforehand- it helps to soften the skin for a smoother shave and the exfoliating acids help to prevent ingrown hairs. I can imagine this is a great product for those who struggle with Keratosis Pilaris too 💚 I enjoyed using this product in the shower on wet skin, but you can also use it beforehand. 🚿 Is there anything I would change? I frequently need to remove fake tan & I feel that due to the ‘beads’ being larger and more dispersed, this wouldn’t be the best product for scrubbing away old tan. I think of this as more of a chemical exfoliator with the added benefit of some beads. I kindly received this product as part of the Sephora test and review scheme however this is my honest opinion after trying the product over a period of time. I would recommend this to friends and family 💚

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great *Received complimentary for my honest review* I suffer from KP on the back of my arms and have tried everything I can think of. I have tried to be realistic about my expectations as I'm looking for a long term solution. However, I really like this skinfix resurface glycolic scrub. It certainly has improved the texture on the back of my arms, smoothed out the area a little and it looks a little less irritated. I'm looking forward to seeing results from long term use and hope it can stop the KP from being persistent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Test I was sent this from the Sephora Community as a Test and Review. I was keen to try this product as I have both acne scarring (pitting) across my shoulders and pigmentation marks from having shingles six months ago. I have been using the Skinfix AHA/BHA Niacinamide Pads on my shingles discolouration marks, which have had some success, but are obviously for facial use and therefore aren't really strong enough for body. I realise I am in a bit of a niche market with this pigmentation, but I haven't been able to find anything to reduce it sufficiently so far. Firstly, the tube is huge. It will definitely take a long time to get through! You apply the scrub to dry skin and rub in before showering. You then get under the water and massage in further. The product does have a strong smell, almost like gone off milk with an acidic twang. The first time I used this, I overestimated how hard you needed to exfoliate and unfortunately did scratch my skin and make it quite red, which left a little scuff mark. I do have quite sensitive, very pale skin. I would therefore suggest being quite gentle, which I have been cautious of since using. The exfoliating properties are similar to a coarse sand/grit in a smooth lotion. The lotion is particularly nice and hydrating and feels very smooth in comparison. It easily turns in to a lather and washes off quickly when under water. I have noticed that this has made my skin really, really smooth after use and it has kept its hydration, which is rare for such a coarse scrub, which would usually leave my skin dry and flakey. I have also noticed some reduction of the grey-brown pigmentation from the shingles since I started use two weeks ago, which is impressive! I should imagine the exfoliation properties would rid me further of this with continued use. I haven't noticed much change to my acne pitting yet, but I'm hopeful, and because the scrub is so hydrating I don't have any nerves about continued use. I will be sticking with this in preference to my usual scrub and love the idea of using this for ingrowing hairs as seen in other reviews. If you have body scarring, I'd definitely say this is worth a shot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fab I received this product for free from Sephora Community in exchange for my honest opinion. I was keen to try this glycolic Scrub because I have keratosis pilaris on my upper arms (lots of little red bumps) and have done so since I had a baby 3 and a half years ago. This Scrub is a mixture of manual and chemical exfoliant, namely glycolic acid. You use it three times a week, starting with a dry Scrub, then wetting in the shower to Scrub it off. I started with the KP in a good spell, but the rash on my before picture is as good as I can ever get it. I've only been using the Skinfix Scrub for less than two weeks, so I don't think I've seen the full results yet, but there has definitely been some improvement. The big difference is how smooth the skin feels. It used to be rough dry skin and now it feels really smooth. The bumps themselves haven't gone away, but if you look very carefully at my before and after pictures, some gaps between the bumps do seem to have widened up. I do think this is making a difference but I think I will need to test for a bit longer to see the full results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good I received this product from the Sephora Community in exchange for my honest opinion. I’ve been trialling this scrub for the past 2 weeks. My main concerns were to see if it would minimise acne scarring around my shoulders and back as well as the KP on my arms. I like that it’s advised to apply this before the shower as it feels like you get a good scrub on your dry skin. I did find however that for me personally there wasn’t enough physical exfoliation as much as I would like, it felt a bit too gentle for me. As for my scarring and KP I didn’t see any noticeable difference. I’ll continue to use this but I won’t repurchase once I run out.
