It is mainly women who are affected by cellulite. Women’s elastic connective tissue, which surrounds the warming and protective fat cells of the subcutaneous (innermost) layer of skin, is substantially softer and looser than that of men. If the tension of these elastic fibres is reduced increased fat is stored in the cells of the subcutaneous layer. These cells can increase to ten times their original size and over time push through the weak connective tissue to the surface of the skin. The result is orange- peel skin, the typical picture of cellulite.

Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil is a unique combination of plant extracts and natural plant oils and which visibly improves the skin’s texture and smoothness by stimulating the body’s own regulating and regenerating processes.

An extract of young organic Birch leaves, organic Rosemary and Ruscus, supports healthy, radiant, looking skin. Revitalising Apricot Kernel oil, moisturising organic Jojoba oil and vitamin rich Wheatgerm oil help to enliven the skin’s appearance. Natural essential oils support the toning effects of the other plant extracts, leaving the skin feeling and looking firm and supple.

Directions

In the first four weeks Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil should be massaged into the skin with circular movements at least twice a day. For ongoing maintenance apply once a day. Massage the oil into the skin with moderate pressure towards the heart.
Tip: Massage into slightly damp skin. The oil can be spread easily and does not leave an oily film.
