Directions
How to Use
1. Massage into wet hair, from roots to ends.
2. Rinse.
3. Follow with color control conditioner.
4. Apply color control leave-in treatment light and do not rinse.

Leaves hair greasy
Very disappointing replacement for colour conserve, a classic case of fixing what wasn't broke! This leaves my hair very greasy unfortunately. As there is no other Aveda general colour shampoo i have had to start looking at other brands which is disappointing as I've been using Aveda 20 years.

I would not buy or recommend this product
I have been buying a range of Aveda products for decades including Colour Conserve. I have converted many friends through buying them Aveda products as gifts. Colour Control is clearly Colour Conserve's replacement. To say I am disappointed is an understatement! It is awful! It makes my hair feel like I haven't washed it in days. It also makes not only my hair but my hands feel odd when washing with it. I certainly will not be buying it again ... it feels like a very cheap shampoo, which it isn't. I bought 1000ml, most of which will now go to waste. It is making me think at looking, in the future, for another brand to use. I had to give it one star but I wouldn't even give it a star given the choice.

Not as good as Colour Conserve
I used this as I had difficulty getting hold of Colour Conserve, but in my opinion it's no where near as good, it made my hair feel greasy, I had bought the whole set too and gave it away

Fantastic colour shampoo
Brought both the shampoo and conditioner first try my red hair looked as if I’d just had it done, absolutely incredible better than my Redkin hands down… beautiful fragrance too.
