This light yet powerful leave-on Paula's Choice Clear Regular Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution With 2% Salicylic Acid is formulated with 2% BHA (salicylic acid) to clear breakouts and blackheads. The non-irritating formula is quickly absorbed and gently exfoliates the skin’s surface and inside the pores for clearer, brighter skin.

Directions
Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning. Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid the lower lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF25 or greater.

Brilliant for acne
Amazing product. Been on and off antibiotic creams for mild but persistent acne for years, but this cleared it up within days

Good stuff but not amazing
I have used 3 bottles of the Maximim Strength BHA so far this year. I used it in the morning and my main goal was to tackle blackheads on my chin and nose. With consistent use I have seen minor improvement in terms of blackheads. Having changed to the Regular Strength, I don't think its necessarily due to the change in PH or product but I'm taking a break from using this... I just don't think this has a transformational effect after long term use and I use quite a lot of actives in my overall routine (not daily) such as Retinols, Azaelic Acid, Glycolic Acid and I think it's just getting a bit too much ahead of Winter.

Saved my skin
It cleared up loads of clogged pores and bumps on my skin and keeps it relatively clear (i.e just normal teenage spots occasionally), it works much better than the original paula’s choice 2% bha if you have sensitive skin that is prone to redness

It does help keep spots down
It’s not a cure, but it does seem to reduce the number of spots and time to heal. It’s pricey but a little goes a long way.
