Starry Eyes

The secret to foolproof party makeup? A little glitter. Proving that more is always more, this easy but impactful Christmas eye makeup is also our go-to makeup for New Year’s Eve, holiday parties and even those pre Christmas dates where you want to feel your most confident self:

Step one: The best eye looks start with an eyeshadow primer like Urban Decay’s bestseller, so pat a small amount over your lids to ensure your shadow lasts all night long.

Step two: Take a glittery shade like Space Cowboy and pack onto your lids with a dense, fluffy brush - making sure to fan out to your brow bone.

Step three: For definition and impact, take Lancôme’s Hypnose Mascara in Extra Black and apply it in sweeping motions to your lashes. Feel free to add extra coats where you want *even more* flair.

Berry Blush

Berry blush has been having its moment this year - and it’s not stopping in the run up to the holidays. Giving us a super simple look that compliments almost any complexion, it’s warm and bold, letting us go as little or a lot as we like. Here’s how to do it:

Step one: Take a powder brush and gently dab onto YSL Beauty’s Cheek and Lip Tint.

Step two: Then lightly sweep across the apples of your cheeks in upwards motions.

Glossy Lips

The perfect finishing touch to any festive glam look, a glossy lip never fails to keep us feeling our best. And with this colourful twist on your usual look, your eyes won’t be the only thing taking centre stage. Just combine these three easy steps with three foolproof products and you’ll be good to go:

Step one: Taking Urban Decay’s Glide On Lip Pencil, line just outside your natural lip line and slightly fill your lip. This will ensure your look stays put for longer, and gives the illusion of fuller lips.

Step two: For a defining touch of colour, swipe Yves Saint Laurent’s Rouge Pur Couture over your lips to leave them with high pigment colour and super high shine.
